Orders are accepted on the following terms.
GOODS BELONG TO Barnesbrook Cages UNTIL PAID FOR IN FULL
PAYMENT Deposit with order, balance due prior to delivery by cash or cheque.
DELIVERY on orders under £100 to mainland UK delivery

Under no circumstances will Barnesbrook Cages be liable for claims for loss of use, loss of product, or consequential loss of any kind after the goods have been received. Although the cages provided by Barnesbrook will contain an animal to the confined area it will not in the case of an accident (i.e. car crash) prevent any item from escaping containment in such circumstances. Cages are merely a deterrent. Barnesbrook can not be held responsible. It is not recommended under any circumstance to store anything what-so-ever on or over the cage, it is also recommended that when unfolding or removing any Barnesbrook product gloves should be worn, by the nature of the products fingers or limps can be trapped. It is not recommended that any children be allowed to fold, remove or dismantle any Barnesbrook product without supervision from an adult. If a guard is made and or fitted by Barnesbrook it is solely to deter anything or anybody from entering and /or over the cage, guard or tailgate to have access to the vehicle. Guards over the rear seats are meanly there to deter animals or people from having access to the said vehicle, It will not contain or limit movement of objects in the case of an accident. This is done at owner’s risk. If objects or animals are not secure and fixed you do so at your own risk. To stop an article, item or animal Barnesbrook recommend that it is either chained or strapped down.
The fully fitted cage unfolds in the car and there are no nuts or bolts. The cage will not rattle, all the st/st clips have two nylon bearings inside each one, even the doors are set not to rattle (you need to slightly press in the middle of the door to release the 8 mm sliding chrome plated bolt) The is nothing that can get lost or eaten. Please state width of doors required, normally about 13”. Car designs change all the time. It is imperative therefore that you check sizes against your vehicle, Many manufactures of cars are now changing the styles every six months. Nearly all the cages we make take up the full void inside your car, Most Barnesbrook Cages only unfold inside to maximise the void area. If you wish to have a cage that slides in already unfolded or if you wish to change the size, please do so carefully and indicate them on the drawing that will be provided to you or let us know if you have a different vehicle shape. ¾” clearance is required between wheel arches and 1” clear everywhere else. A full size template can be posted on request. Any changes made render the cage bespoke & personalised to your specifications. Egg. Door sizes, door orientation (See Bespoke Goods) this helps us give you the best designed cage to suit the different dog sizes and customers requirements.
Prices agreed as part of the contract will be honoured however, if after the product has been made to the customer’s specification and as to the contract and the customer wants any modifications or alterations made after the agreed contract there may be a further charge for this. This will be discussed with the customer prior to any amendments.
Guarantees New Goods are fully guaranteed for 12 months, reconditioned items for 3 months. Subject to reasonable use. However, if the product becomes faulty due to a manufacturing fault outside of this time, please contact us and if we feel that it is a manufacturing fault, we will offer a resolution to you in line with your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended). If the goods are faulty down to a manufacturing fault, you will need to send the goods back to us but this will be at our expense, not yours.
If the product becomes faulty as a result of incorrect usage by the customer, we can repair this providing the customer returns the product to us at their own expense. The repair may incur a fee depending on how big a repair it is but please contact us first to discuss this.
Standard goods can be returned for any reason for a full refund providing that the goods are in the same condition they were in when you received them and providing that you contact us to let us know within 7 working days starting the day after the day you received the goods. The goods must then be returned within a reasonable time at your own expense. Once we have received the goods back, we will examine them to ensure that they are in a resalable condition and if they are, you will receive a full refund including your initial delivery charge of receiving the goods. You will however, not receive the cost of delivery of sending the item back to us. You will receive a full refund within 30 days.
Bespoke goods are those that are designed to your specification and these can not always be returned unless they are faulty (please refer to our Guarantees section).
Should you (the customer) incorrectly measure the vehicle and/or have a cage made to your specifications incorrectly and this is not discovered till after it has been made to that specification, in order to keep our reputation for good customer relations we will quote rectification costs with you and keep them to a minimum. If this is not possible we may refund the cost less postage, less twenty percent handling charge. Please note under Regulations 2000 we are not obliged to make any refund when goods are bespoke.
Our returns policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Disposal Of Goods
Once goods have finished their life expectancy, if you wish to return them to Barnesbrook we will dispose of them for you free of charge.
LAW The contract is governed by English law and the jurisdiction of the English Court. The Contract is made in Barnham, West Sussex. Disputes will be settled by arbitration in the Chichester County court and the purchaser agrees not to transfer the case elsewhere.
Barnesbrook Cages reserves the right to alter prices from the prices displayed.

By phone To place an order, select items required from the Web Site, www.dogcages.net dial the number above and ask to place an order. We will then advise you on availability and delivery. It may speed your ordering if you complete the priority order form on the web before you make the call.
Standard Cages are made to order 10 – 14 days from recite of order either by email or post. Bespoke Cages, goods and non standard items require a further 14 days. We will inform you of any delays we may have.
